Priorities of the Danish Government for Danish Development Assistance

Every year the Government presents to the Parliament its priorities for Danish Development Cooperation for the coming three year period.

The Government presents its priorities for the Danish development cooperation for 2018 as well as an overview of the development cooperation budget 2018-2021. Denmark’s development cooperation is a tangible and visible contribution to the joint responsibility Denmark assumes for the world’s development. Denmark is one of few countries in the world that fulfills the UN target of giving 0.7 percent of the gross national income to development assistance. The publication highlights the government's key messages in its budget proposal for 2018 for development cooperation along with tables containing priorities and funding.
