With effect from April 1, 2011, the KR-rules have been phased out and new procedures for entering into contracts for consultancy services with a value up to DKK 900,000 have entered into force.
The new procedures provide for the following methods of selection:
Contract Value in DKK Method of selection
1. Up to 250,000 Single Source Selection
2. Above 250,000 Limited Competitive Tendering up to 500,000
3. Above 500,000 Restricted/Open Tendering up to 900,000
4. Above 900,000 Restricted/Open Tendering (EU-directive rules)

Phasing-out the current KR-rules:
Draft contracts submitted to the Business and Contracts Departments for approval before April 1, 2011 will be concluded according to the current KR-rules. The basis for entering into contracts in respect of contract opportunities announced on the internet before April 1, 2011 will be the KR-rules. Likewise, for contracts that have been agreed on the basis of the current KR-rules:
Such contracts will be concluded on the basis of the KR-rules. Any addendum to a KR-contract will be entered into on the basis of the KR-rules.Relevant KR-documents are located under KR-documents used before April first 2011.
