The Evaluation Department is an independent, specialised unit.
The primary task is to plan, design and implement evaluations of Danida’s development cooperation and to disseminate evaluation results and lessons learned to Danida staff, authorities in programme countries and other stakeholders. The Evaluation Department contributes to policy and strategy development in Danida by providing information on experiences gathered through its own and other donors’ evaluations. Furthermore, the Evaluation Department is responsible for the support to development research.
