It will not be unknown territory for Thomas Østrup Møller when he returns in the near future to Asiatisk Plads. Before he went to Warsaw with his family in 2010 as Denmark's Ambassador to Poland, he was head of the Ministry's Finance Department from 2007 to 2010. So Thomas will be returning to familiar ground in the Ministry's resource management area, which seen in the light of the economic crisis and the state's need for continuous efficiency improvements, is becoming increasingly important.
Thomas Østrup Møller was born in 1966 and graduated from the University of Copenhagen with an MSc in Economics in 1994. He has worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1992 and, in addition to resource management, has gained extensive experience in trade, development assistance, security policy and European policy. Thomas has served as a diplomat in Cairo, Berlin and most recently, Warsaw.
