Receive individual sparring with an experienced adviser from the Trade Council before your enterprise begins exporting activities or other forms of internationalisation. It can be of crucial importance for the success of your enterprise in the export markets.

Receive assistance with export preparation

The Trade Council offers individual consultancy support and sparring with an experienced adviser to small and medium-sized Danish enterprises that are preparing to begin export activities, sourcing or other international activities. The Trade Council's export preparation advisers have extensive experience in launching export activities and are therefore highly qualified to advise you on market choice and export preparation. A consultancy process typically consists of three to four meetings, during which all export-related issues will be discussed with the adviser. The consultancy process results in a specific action plan for internationalisation, which may also form the basis for being approved for the Trade Council's Export Start Programme. Export preparation is financed by the Trade Council and is provided free of charge to enterprises with fewer than 100 employees and with a maximum annual turnover of less than DKK 150 million.

The export preparation programme

The programme includes:

- Meetings with an experienced export preparation adviser
- Assesment of the enterprise's readiness for internationalisation
- Consultancy support regarding market choice
- Consultancy support and sparring regarding conditions that are relevant to the export preparation process
- Formulation of a tailor-made action plan for how your enterprise can initiate internationalisation activities

Following this, the Trade Council can provide further assistance through the Danish Missions in the export markets.
