It was a great pleasure and an honour to reopen the Royal Danish Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 1 November 2024, marking Denmark’s return to the country.

The Embassy aims to strengthen the already strong relations between Denmark and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as to strengthen Denmark’s presence in the Western Balkans. We support efforts to stabilize the country, support Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU integration process, and promote free media, gender equality, and anti-corruption initiatives.

In addition, the Embassy seeks to broaden knowledge of Danish culture and values, highlighting Danish approaches and solutions to shared challenges.
