Internships

The Embassy of Denmark in Canberra and the Trade Council in Sydney are looking for interns


Get hands-on experience within The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and explore the diplomatic and business relation between Denmark and all of Oceania.

The following internships are available:

  • Royal Danish Embassy in Canberra: One Political Internship and one Economic Diplomacy Internship
  • Danish Trade Council in Sydney: Two Economic Diplomacy Internships

The internships are of 6 months duration. By clicking the pages below you can also read about previous interns' experiences working in Australia. 

The applicants must either be Danish citizen or have had a close connection to Denmark for a long period of time. Moreover, it is a requirement that you are enrolled at a Danish or foreign university. You must also master both Danish and English orally as well as in writing.
