The Consulate's competencies

  • Issue provisional passport
  • Establish contact to insurance companies in case of illness, accident or death
  • Establish contact to lawyers in case of arrest
  • Establish contact to the Embassy in Sofia in case of accident or death
  • Inform about risks in Bulgaria 

The Consulate does not help with

  • Issue passport for children below the age of 12
  • Issue normal passport
  • Visa and residence permit
  • Driver's licence
  • Recording of inquiry
