Mid-term review of Denmark's support to MSI Reproductive Choices 2023-2026
Deadline for applications: 03 September 2025, at 12:00 (noon), Danish time
BACKGROUND:
MSI is a leading SRHR organisation and one of the world’s largest providers of high-quality contraception, safe abortion and other integrated SRHR services, with a strong focus on global and national advocacy for women and girls’ right to access safe abortion. The overall objective for Denmark’s engagement with MSI Reproductive Choices is to expand access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) globally, especially for women and adolescent girls.
The Danish funds are allocated to MSI’s non-profit work in countries on the OECD-DAC list of eligible countries for ODA and are earmarked within two pillars of MSI’s work:
- Access Pillar ‘Leave No-one Behind’: supporting delivery of SRHR services to the poorest and most marginalised communities in countries on the OECD DAC list of eligible countries for ODA
- Enabling Pillar ‘Partnership and Advocacy’: creating an enabling environment at policy, partner, and community level which supports people to realise their SRHR.
OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the mid-term review is to assess progress and relevance of the collaboration under each of the pillars and provide recommendations for possible adjustments as relevant. The review will gather lessons learned, including factors that have enhanced or hindered the implementation of project activities, as well as gauge progress made towards the achievement of outcomes in the context of the two pillars.

The mid-term review will be conducted based on a desk review of documents and initial interviews, a mission to one or two countries in Africa and/or Asia and the write-up of the draft and final report.
