Process Consultant - Establishment of the Foundation for Business Environment - Mozambique

Description: The Fund for Business Environment ("FAN") was created with Danida support in 2011 as a project. By August 2016 it shall be transferred into a National Mozambican Foundation. Legal advice is supplied by a Mozambican National Consultant, but a range of issues will requre additional assistance, including the transfer of assets from the "FAN-Project" to the FAN Foundation and the revision of business plans and manuals etc.

Objective: The objective of the consultancy is to (a) support the establishment of the FAN Foundation and (b) the transition of assets, supervised by the Danish Embassy in Maputo and in close cooperation with the present FAN Project, contact to the Board of FAN and other stakeholders and relevant consultants.

Scope and timing: Inputs are estimated at 40 working days during the period from late March to end of July 2016, in case of using international consultants divided over two visits to Maputo.

Estimated budget: maximum budget is DKK 450.000,-

Expertise required: Qualifications will include solid experience with advocacy and business environment, fund and foundation structures and monitoring and evaluation, etc. Professional experience from working in Mozambique, knowledge of the Mozambican business environment and proficiency in Portuguese are obligatory qualifications.
