Communications Support for the Embassy of Denmark, Islamabad - Pakistan

Description: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark is seeking the services of a local Communications Consultancy Company. The Company will assist the embassy in communicating and sharing information with a wider audience about activities, results and lessons learnt from the development cooperation between Denmark and Pakistan. Communication will be in Urdu and in English. The communication activities with be guided by MFA communication guidelines and strategies.

Denmark is engaged in Pakistan with a wide range of development activities: 

1. The development cooperation programme for 2013-2016 provides support to peace building, livelihoods, education and to CSOs with a clear rights mandate in the areas of democratisation, human rights and gender equality. The development co-operation programme is phasing out by the end of December, 2016.
2. The Embassy is also engaged in a regional Peace and Stability programme until the end of 2017, and humanitarian support.

The communications company will focus on information regarding development cooperation, but may also to a limited extent be involved in information activities regarding commercial initiatives with a development and green growth perspective.

Timing and budget: The contact  will be for 12 months starting from March 17, 2016. The total hours available for the communications consultant will be 1.000 hours. The total maximum budge is DKK 230,000.
