Open procedure: Baseline Study in Kafa Zone, Ethiopia, under the Climate Resilient and Forest Livelihoods Thematic Programme

Description:
Ethiopia's population is highly vulnerable to the direct effects of climate change, which includes droughts as well as heavy rains and floods. The Climate Resilient Forest Livelihoods-programme (CRFL) aims to result in 'improved and climate resilient livelihoods, while maintaining and enhancing carbon stocks and other ecosystem services and products through establishment of partipatory forest management in the Kafa Biosphere Reserve'. The main objective of this baseline study is to establish the baseline and guide the CRFL programme which will be used in the monitoring of programme progress and impacts. Using the indicators provided in the results framework as a starting point, the service provider shall suggest a feasible sampling methodology.
 
The scope of the contract is three months and the maximum budget is DKK 1 mio. The results of the study is expected to be delivered as soon as possible in early 2020.
