13.08.2021  19:23
The Danish Interpreters’ Agreement (The Agreement on the Management of the Situation for Interpreters and other Locally Employed in Afghanistan) from 2013 is still in force. This means, that those who have assisted the Danish effort in Afghanistan and who are directly menaced or imperiled as a result of having assisted the Danish effort in Afghanistan, still can apply for support in accordance with the Interpreters’ Agreement from 2013. Further information on the Interpreters’ Agreement from 2013 can be found here.

Every person who meets the abovementioned criteria is recommended to send a request for support urgently.

All requests for support can be directed to the Danish Embassy in Kabul ([email protected]), the Danish Embassy in Islamabad ([email protected]) and to the Danish military authorities ([email protected]).

When it comes to current employees at the Danish Embassy in Kabul and to former employees at the Danish Embassy in Kabul and former employees with the Danish Defence who have been employed during the previous two years, the relevant support regime is now the special support measures agreed upon on 11 August 2021. Further information on the new special support measures can be found via this link.
