The Danish Embassy in Tbilisi hiring a receptionist/personal assistant to the Ambassador. Are you the friendly face and voice of the Danish embassy in Tbilisi?

As receptionist / personal assistant to the Ambassador you will be the first point of contact for our partners and visitors. You need to be a positive and outgoing person, who thrive in a busy environment and who takes pride in dealing with all kind of external enquiries in a friendly and service-oriented manner. You will work closely with all the departments of the embassy providing a great opportunity for learning more about the mechanisms of a busy, bilateral embassy.

Tasks will include:
•    Administering the Ambassador’s calendar and appointments.
•    Responding to and redirecting calls from Danish and Georgian/Armenian citizens, authorities, businesses and international organizations.
•    Receive visitors arriving at the embassy.
•    Assist in internal and external communication and address ad hoc requests from the public and official authorities.
•    Preparing and translating official documents in Georgian and English.
•    Depending on qualifications, the tasks can involve basic accounting.
•    Other assignments may be assigned to fit the successful applicant’s individual profile.
•    Function as a back-up to the embassy administrative and consular employee.
•    Support other teams with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Professional qualifications:
•    A minimum of 3 years of working experience in an international environment, e.g. from embassies, ministries, universities, international organizations, NGOs or business organizations.
•    Excellent skills in oral and written communication in English and Georgian. 
•    Experience with accounting and flair for numbers is an asset, but not a requirement.
•    Experience from abroad. Knowledge about Denmark or Scandinavia is considered an asset, but is not a requirement. 

Personal qualifications:
•    Outgoing, empathetic and tactful.
•    Ability to work in a sometimes hectic work environment 
•    Attention to details and professionalism.
•    High work ethics and self-driven.
•    Good humour.

The position is full-time, 40 hours a week. The employment is on local terms. A competitive salary package will be provided according to qualifications.

Starting Date
December 2026 or as soon as possible. Employment requires security clearance from the Danish authorities. The applicant should be eligible for working in Georgia, i.e. be a Georgian national or have a valid Georgian work permit.
