The Embassy is closed for Christmas from 24 December 2021 to 2 January 2022 (incl.). If you need a visa to travel to Denmark (incl. Faroe Islands and Greenland), Finland, Iceland and Sweden before 24 December, the latest day for handing in the visa application to the VFS Global Application Center is Wednesday, 8 December 2021.
As a rule, applications should at the latest be handed in 15 days prior to the intended entry into the Schengen area. Please note that late submission can lead to a decision on the application being taken after the intended date of departure. For application procedure kindly visit this page.
