Easing of entry restrictions from 1 March 2022

Travel restrictions for entrants to Denmark from the EU and Schengen countries will be lifted, while restrictions on entry from other countries will be eased.

From 00:00 on 1 March 2022, there will no longer be any restrictions on entry into Denmark for entrants arriving from an EU or Schengen country.

Entrants from countries outside the EU or Schengen area will only be required to obtain a COVID-19 test within 24 hours after entry. Persons entering from countries outside the EU and Schengen who are vaccinated with an approved vaccine or who can document that they have been infected with COVID-19 within the past 180 days will be exempt from this requirement and therefore may enter without restrictions. Certain exemptions from the requirement for testing after entry still apply, e.g. for children under the age of 15.
