Denmark and India are deepening cooperation on sustainable, resilient food systems under the Green Strategic Partnership. Anchored in Memoranda of Understanding between the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and key Indian institutions, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, the partnership combines policy dialogue, technical exchange, and capacity building to advance food safety, animal health, and sustainable livestock production. Joint priorities include risk-based food safety systems, antimicrobial resistance and stewardship, and knowledge-sharing on genetics, breeding, and herd management, with early collaboration already yielding technical workshops, study visits, and institutional exchanges between the two countries.
