In Kosovo the healthcare system is being upgraded with the goal of better coverage and state-of-the-art equipment. This as well as the need for imported pharmaceuticals presents interesting opportunities:
The EU and other donors are taking part in funding the upgrades of the healthcare sector within the context of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA).
