Danish assistance to Moldova’s resilience, reforms and EU-accession now exceeds 60 mill. euro and is set to increase over the coming years. In addition there are positive trends on trade, cultural ties, and tourism.
The two agreed to enhance cooperation even further, including by encouraging more Danish investments in food production, IT, services and sustainable energy.
They also shared national preferences, with ambassador Jensen praising Moldovan wines and Prime Minister Tofan highlighting the famous Danish ‘smørrebrød’.
