Competence and determination have no gender
Denmark supports Moldova's commitment to the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda, driving forward an environment built on professionalism and meritocracy.
Ambassador Jensen joined Deputy Speaker Gherman, Minister of Defence Nosatîi and Minister of Internal Affairs Misail-Nichitin at the conference “Female Leaders in Security and Defence”, arranged by UNWOMEN and the NATO Liaison Office.
“In today’s geopolitical environment, security is no longer just an issue for the military. It concerns the resilience of all of our society - our institutions, infrastructure, information space and our way of life. The Women Peace and Security agenda must be seen in this context, giving women and men an equal role when addressing the security of our societies and in the face of emerging threats. Denmark remains committed to partnering with Moldova to this end,” the ambassador noted.
