Thus 100 teachers, librarians and experts came together at the third Moldova Media Literacy Forum to discuss national policies and integration of media education in school subjects.
Commending efforts of Moldovan teachers and journalists to counter disinformation Ambassador Jensen stated that “Teachers and journalists are essential partners on the same mission. You help young people not only consume information – but understand and use it responsibly as future active citizens. As Moldova works to make society stronger against disinformation, Denmark will support these efforts at local and national level”.
The forum organized by Centrul pentru Jurnalism Independent Moldova was co-sponsored by Denmark through IMS (International Media Support).
