Meeting Mr. Aurel Baciu, Head of the Inspectoratul General pentru Situații de Urgență al MAI(IGSU) and members of his staff, Ambassador Jensen presented the Danish support of €3.5 million for Crisis Management. It includes yearly donations of fire and rescue vehicles and equipment, as well as training for first responders.
As part of the project, Moldova will also receive 220 complete sets of firefighter turnout gear and 150 self-contained breathing apparatuses, including extra air cylinders.
