Access to justice is a cornerstone of the rule of law. Yet for many women, especially those from vulnerable groups, barriers such as cultural, linguistic, social, physical and financial obstacles still remain.

Despite strong legal frameworks, domestic violence continues to affect thousands of women every year.

Behind every statistic is a woman whose safety, dignity and rights have been violated.

Denmark stands in solidarity with these women and remains firmly committed to advancing justice for all women and girls.

The study was developed by UN Women Moldova and the Centrul de Drept al Femeilor / Women's Law Centre with financial support from Denmark.
