A study of public administration across nine EU candidate countries was recently presented at a joint meeting with government representatives funded by the EU and Denmark.
The study, conducted by OECD/Sigma explores the following questions:
How can ministries improve their effectiveness and coordination?
How can decision-making processes be improved?
How can public services better meet citizens’ needs?
Strengthening the efficiency of public institutions- especially ministries - is essential for transparent governance and better services for citizens.
