Danish criminal record

You cannot obtain a copy of your Danish criminal record through the Embassy or a Danish Consulate. You must contact the Police in Denmark directly.

If you have MitID, you can request the certificate of criminal record online. Find the form through the link above (please note that the form is in Danish). 

Non-Danish citizens who wish to obtain a copy of their Danish criminal record should contact the Danish Police through the following contact:

In the e-mail you must include the following documents: 

  • A written and signed request for the certificate (No specific form is required)
  • A copy/photo of your valid passport
  • The complete physical address where you wish to receive the certificate

The criminal record is free of charge.
