This position allows you to apply your technical studies in a real-world setting, supporting a small, dynamic team at the Royal Danish Embassy in Singapore.

We are looking for a motivated and technically strong student assistant with a broad computer-related background who understands architectures and solution design for localised AI/LLM deployments, including aspects such as data flows, security, and integration with existing systems. The position is part-time (15–20 hours weekly) and limited to 6 months from commencement of employment, with the possibility of extension.

•    Opportunities to expand your professional network in Denmark and Asia
•    Flexible working hours that fit a student schedule

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Contribute to the architecture and design of localised AI/LLM solutions, including on-premise or regionally hosted setups and integrations with internal tools
•    Assist in setting up and maintaining secure workflows, prompts, and configurations for AI/LLM-based use cases (for example, document assistance, internal knowledge tools, or text processing)
•    Support evaluation, testing, and documentation of AI/LLM solutions, including performance, reliability, and user feedback
•    Help prepare technical documentation, presentations, and simple guidelines for internal users
•    Assist in organising and preparing AI-related meetings, workshops, and internal training sessions
•    Support communication tasks related to AI/LLM initiatives, including preparing short updates and monitoring relevant technology trends

Expected Competencies

•    Be an undergraduate or postgraduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related computing discipline
•    Already hold a valid work permit in Singapore that allows part-time student employment
•    Demonstrate understanding of system or solution architectures, particularly for AI/LLM or data-intensive applications (for example, components, data flows, security, access control)
•    Have strong analytical skills, curiosity, and creativity in problem-solving
•    Show initiative, independence, and a proactive, positive attitude
•    Possess excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
•    Be well versed with common productivity tools (for example, MS Office) and comfortable working with technical documentation and basic scripting or configuration
•    Experience with AI/ML frameworks, LLM APIs, or open source models is an advantage

We recommend that you check any academic requirements from your university regarding student jobs before applying.

Employment Conditions

  • Part-time employment contract position 6 months from commencement of employment, with the possibility of extension, based on the relevant legally binding labour market rules of Singapore

  • Working hours are 15–20 hours per week
