Cities are at the forefront of addressing the challenge of climate change, both through mitigation efforts that reduce emissions and adaptation measures that strengthen resilience. As urban populations continue to grow, cities play an increasingly important role in shaping sustainable, liveable, and future-ready communities.
This high-level event at London Climate Action Week brings together policymakers, industry representatives, and city leaders to explore how collaboration across sectors can support sustainable urban development and accelerate climate action.
The programme will feature keynote presentations followed by a panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges facing cities as they work to balance economic growth, environmental sustainability, and quality of life. Discussions will focus on city-shaping, climate resilience, and innovative approaches to urban development, highlighting how cities can create solutions that respond to both local needs and global challenges.
