The municipal elections in the Faroe Islands will take place on 12 November, 2024. Votes can be cast from Friday 12 July, 2024. Votes should be cast well in advance of the election in order to arrive in the Faroe Islands before the Election Day.
Before arriving at the embassy to cast your vote, remember to book a consular appointment (book here).
Please be advised, that you are able to cast your vote up until the Election Day but in order to ensure that your vote will arrive in due time at the relevant municipality, we advise that you cast your vote no later than 25th of October 2024.
In order to cast your vote, bring a valid photo ID with you to the embassy (Passport, Driver’s License etc.).
