First Steering Committee Meeting

On 31 March 2023, the First Steering Committee meeting of the Mykolaiv-Denmark Partnership took place, with the participation of Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy Dan Jørgensen, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov, Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim, Mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych, and Head of Mykolaiv Regional Council Anton Tabunshchyk.


 

 

The parties discussed Danish support for Mykolaiv, as well as restoration and reconstruction development plans. Further aid package was allocated, which included: medical equipment for the hospitals, firefighting equipment, water towers, vehicles for reconstruction, bomb shelters for schools in Mykolaiv, and trolley buses for the city of Mykolaiv.
