On January 18th, Energy Counsellor Nikolaj Lomholt Svensson delivered a speech on building back the Ukrainian energy sector greener and more resilient at a high-level event organised by the Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World (PAEW).
The event brought together around 500 (physical and online) leaders of communities, businesses, professional communities and the international community to share experiences and accelerate the transformational changes that have begun in Ukraine in spite of the difficult times. In his speech, our energy counsellor highlighted that Denmark is committed to working together with Ukraine to achieve energy security and a sustainable energy system. Danish energy authorities have cooperated to achieve this with the Ukrainian ministries for energy and infrastructure since the beginning of the war in 2014 and are fully committed to helping as long as it takes.
