The Embassy of Denmark in Hanoi is pleased to announce plans to launch the Denmark in Your Eyes Painting Contest 2027–2028 in Viet Nam and invites potential sponsors to join us in supporting this meaningful initiative.
First launched in 2016, the contest was co-organised by the Embassy of Denmark and the Viet Nam–Denmark Friendship Association (VIDAFA) to commemorate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Denmark. Since then, the contest has been held every one to two years, each edition introducing a new theme while maintaining a strong focus on environmental issues.
Over the years, the Denmark in Your Eyes Painting Contest has attracted tens of thousands of entries from across Viet Nam, providing Vietnamese children in primary and secondary schools with a platform to express their creativity, share their perspectives and raise awareness of environmental challenges through art.
Beyond the competition itself, the initiative has generated lasting positive impact in local communities. Artworks from previous editions have been donated and displayed in schools, art clubs, hospitals and at public diplomacy events, helping bring art closer to the community while fostering cultural exchange and strengthening people-to-people ties between Denmark and Viet Nam.
As preparations for the 2027–2028 edition begin, the Embassy welcomes expressions of interest from companies that share our commitment to creativity, environmental awareness, youth engagement and cultural exchange. Through sponsorship and partnership, we hope to build on the contest's achievements, broaden its reach and create even greater value for the community.
We warmly invite prospective sponsors to join us in bringing the next edition of the Denmark in Your Eyes Painting Contest to life and in nurturing the enduring friendship between Denmark and Viet Nam.
Deadline for expression of interest : 30 November 2026
