Legalization of Vietnamese documents

The Danish Embassy in Vietnam can only legalize official documents issued by the competent Vietnamese authorities, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, certificates of marital status, divorce decisions, and other relevant official documents, once they have been legalized by the Vietnamese authorities.

The procedure for legalisation of Vietnamese documents and certificates for use in Denmark is as follows:

2. Original document with translations must be legalised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In Hanoi, legalizations are done by the Consular Department at no. 40 Tran Phu Street, Hanoi.

In Ho Chi Minh City, legalizations are done by the External Relations Department at no. 6 Alexandre De Rhodes Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

3. The Legalisations Department's signature is hereafter to be legalised by the Embassy.
