Thematic NGO Call for proposals: Reducing deforestation and increasing the sustainability of the Danish soy supply chain

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark/Danida is launching a thematic NGO Call for Proposals (CfP) titled "Reducing deforestation and increasing the sustainability of the Danish soy supply chain". The CfP is expected to lead to the selection of one project with a budget not exceeding DKK 30 million. 

The development objectives of the CfP is climate change mitigation and adaptation, strengthened biodiversity and ecosystems, and enhanced social and economic development.

The specific objective of the CfP is to reduce deforestation associated with the Danish soy supply chain (i.e. ensuring that soy imported to and consumed in Denmark is produced sustainably without causing deforestation that damages climate, biodiversity and ecosystems, and inclusion and rights). 

The deadline for the submission of proposals is 1 March 2022 at 12:00 (noon) Danish Time.
