Improving social cohesion and resilience in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SCORE)


Implementation period:
July 2025 - December 2026
Amount: 10 Mil. DKK (1.3 mil. EUR)
Objective (key results): 
    

  • Robust research framework and publicly accessible datasets on social cohesion, resilience, and inclusive participation are established and used to inform policy decisions and development programming in BiH
  • Targeted oversampling and analysis at the local level, in communities prone to heightened social tensions, to generate in-depth local insights that inform tailored policy responses and address context-specific challenges to social cohesion and gender inclusion
  • Enhanced local mechanism and multi-stakeholder platforms in place across BiH to foster intergroup trust, counter divisive narratives, and support inclusive participation of underrepresented groups, particularly women and youth in public decision-making

Core support Transparency International Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH)

Implementation period: 2025-2026
Amount: 6 mil. DKK for 2025 (803.679,00 EUR)
Objective (Key results):
BIH ranks the lowest in the region and second worst in Europe when it comes to the state of corruption in the country, and is at a historic low. Key results of the project are therefore:

  • Protection of public resources
  • Secure integrity in politics
  • Enforce laws and sanctions
  • Defend civil society and promote integrity

Bosnia and Herzegovina - Gender Equality Accelerator (GEA)

Implementation period: July 2025 – December 2026
Amount: 24 mil. DKK (3.2 mil. EUR)
Objective (key results):

  • Gender and social norms and attitudes are improved to prevent GBV and discrimination;
  • Expert CSO service-providers receive more sustainable and flexible financing;
  • Strengthened policy frameworks for a more gender-responsive care economy;
  • Strengthened institutional knowledge and skills, coupled with enhanced prevention of gender stereotypes, violence and discrimination) Policies and enforceable legislation for the promotion of gender equality and gender-responsive governance.
