The Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP) is a joint European initiative to support Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq to understand better and mitigate the impact of forced displacement of Syrian refugees. RDPP is seeking a consultancy team to carry out a livelihood learning study, documenting the learning and knowledge derived from livelihood interventions supported by the RDPP. The purpose is, firstly, to support the RDPP and its contributing donors to generate knowledge and learning from the livelihood’s engagements supported under the programme, and assessing outcomes and potential impact, including unintended impact.

Secondly, to assess the strategies applied for livelihoods engagements in terms of what has worked and what has not, why and how in terms of creating sustainable livelihoods opportunities and based on this provide recommendations, which will inform the development of a new phase of the programme. Given the intensity of the work and time limitations, the consultancy will focus on RDPP supported livelihoods interventions in Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq. The consultants will be expected to also interview end-beneficiaries of RDPP partnerships.

The maximum budget is DKK 500,000 with a total of 40 working days. The consultancy is expected to start on 1 September 2022 and be completed by 30 November 2022.
