Legal Framework

Denmark's development assistance is administered on the basis of the Danish Act on International Development Cooperation Consolidated Act no. 555 of 18.06.2012. The act came into force the 1st January 2013. 

The Act on International Development Cooperation has been amended twice since the adoption. The first amendment (Act no. 1464 of 17/12/2013), came into force the 1st January 2014 and the second amendment (Act no. 1741 of  27/12/2016) the 1st January 2017.
