Joint Evaluation of the Integrated Solutions Model in and around Kalobeyei, Turkana, Kenya
Kalobeyei Integrated Socio-Economic Development Programme (KISEDP) is a comprehensive response to displacement in Turkana County, in the north-western part of Kenya. KISEDP started implementation in 2017 with the objective of providing protection to refugees while at the same time addressing the development needs of impoverished host communities in the county. The evaluation is joint between UNHCR and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and provides an evidence based input to the discussion of how to implement the New York Declaration for Refugees and Migrants and the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework endorsed by the UN General Assembly in 2016. The evaluation was carried out by Analysis for Economic Decisions (ADE).
