Denmark strongly condemns Russian attacks on civilians in Ukraine

”We saw kindergartens destroyed by Russian ordnances, and giant holes blown in the middle of residential buildings - in the center of the capital of Ukraine.”

Those were the words from the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeppe Kofod in his address to UN’s Human Rights Council in Geneva.

The Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs took the opportunity to turn the spotlight on the Russian armed forces’ attacks on civilian targets in what the he called Russia’s “unlawful and immoral war of conquest”.

“Future generations will judge us by the decisions we make in the coming hours and days. Every minute means more innocent civilians harmed, killed, and displaced. Our children will ask us if we did enough to support Ukraine when it mattered the most,” Jeppe Kofod said.
