As of 1 August 2025, your physical visa application and passport will be stored at the Danish Embassy in Mexico, but the case processing will be done digitally by the Danish Consulate General in New York City.
The Embassy in Mexico cannot assist you with processing times, document requirements, application processes or other aspects of the visa process.

Denmark has a working partnership with the visa application centre VFS Global in Mexico City, who provide support to people applying for visa to enter Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland.
All visa applicants must hand in their visa application and required documents to VFS Global Mexico (not the Danish Embassy).
