International Business Advisor – Promoting investments to Denmark

With the objective to attract foreign investments to Denmark, your main task will include:

• Identifying key company targets and analyzing business trends.
• Preparing sales pitches and promotion of Denmark as the best destination to invest in.
• Matching value propositions in Denmark with business strategies of the foreign investors.
• Creating a solid network of key stakeholders on the markets to cooperate with on investment promotion.
• Developing a pipeline of potential investors in order to reach the yearly KPIs for attracting investment to Denmark.
• Contributing to crosscutting projects (investment promotion, export promotion and innovation) at the General Consulate.

We expect that you have a master’s degree in business, economics or equivalent fields and that you have a strong commercial and technical mind-set. Moreover, the ideal candidate:

• Has documented international sales, consulting or business development experience.
• Has a thorough understanding of company strategies, innovation trends and technologies.
• Is fluent in English and German, both written and spoken. Danish is also an advantage.
• Has a broad professional network at an appropriate level in Germany.
• Experience from working within Life Science is preferable.

• You will be offered a two-year contract with the possibility of extension.
• The standard working hours are 37 hours per week, including a 30-minute lunch break.
• You will be entitled to 25 days of paid holiday per year.
• Your salary will reflect your qualifications, relevant experience and proven work-related results.
• The employment is subject to a security check by the Danish authorities.
