The Alumni Excellence Award 2026, an initiative by the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam, celebrates an outstanding alumnus/alumna who has demonstrated excellent achievements in their professional field and shown strong commitment to fostering cooperation between Viet Nam and Denmark in the last five years, from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2025.
Eligibility:
Alumni are eligible for nomination for the Embassy of Denmark’s Alumni Excellence Award if they:
- Completed at least one advanced degree program (university, master or PhD graduate) or specialized training course in Denmark or participated in a Danida supported research project and received a relevant certificate of completion or documentation of participation in a research project,
- Made extraordinary contributions in their professional fields in the last five years, from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2025
- Contributed substantially to cooperation between Denmark and Viet Nam in the last five years, from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2025.
Criteria:
The Embassy of Denmark’s Alumni Excellence Award is given to an alumnus/alumna who, in the last five years, from 1 st January 2021 to 31 December 2025, has:
- Demonstrated excellent achievements in their professional fields with a particular emphasis on, but not limited to, Health, Food Safety, Green Transition, Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Vocational Education, Statistics and Digitalization
- Shown strong commitment to fostering cooperation between Denmark and Viet Nam.
Reward:
The recipient will receive an official award from the Embassy of Denmark, be recognized at the Annual Alumni Networking Event and on the Embassy of Denmark’s Social Media channels.
