The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Protocol Department, presents

its compliments to all Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Consulates accredited to Denmark, International Organisations and Other Missions resident in Copenhagen as well as Honorary Consuls in Denmark and has the honour to share the following information:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Protocol Department, will be closed from Monday 23 December 2024 at 16:00 pm until Thursday 2 January 2025 at 09:00 am.

Last day for collection of ID and residence cards before the holidays will be Thursday 19 December 2024. First day for collection in the new year will be Tuesday 7 January 2025. Opening hours are found on our website (https://um.dk/en/about-us/the-protocol-department).

For urgent need of assistance during the above period, please contact the 24/7 Operations Centre in Copenhagen, Tel +45 3392 1112, e-mail [email protected], around the clock. However, assistance may be limited compared to regular working days.
