External Panel

The Panel contributes to quality assurance of larger bilateral grants and grants with substantial risk on an early stage in the preparation and quality assurance process. 

Documents for the Panel meetings are available to the public through a public consultation approximately four weeks in advance. You can access the agenda and documents for draft projects and programmes that are to be presented at the meeting. A few weeks after the meeting, you can access the minutes.

The purpose of the panel is to contribute to the quality assurance of larger bilateral grants and grants with substantial risk on an early stage in the preparation process.

The Panel assess grants in accordance with the applicable strategy for development policy and the aid management guidelines to support the implementation of the strategy. The Panel advices the units within the ministry on bilateral projects and programmes and provides a number of recommendations to the units
