Calls for Proposals
Calls for Proposals (CfPs) allow organisations to propose projects that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (MFA) may finance through grants. This is a way to ensure equal treatment and access to all organisations that may provide solutions for the achievement of the MFA’s goals and objectives, as well as transparency in the process of awarding grants. All MFA grants that are initiated as open CfPs should be published on this page.
In the list below, ongoing and completed CfPs may be found. If considering to apply in one of them, please make sure to read the announcement, the grant’s purpose, and the uploaded information note very carefully. Furthermore, take note of the deadlines, requirements and criteria found therein, as failure to comply or live up to them may lead to applications made in vain.
CfPs may follow a one- or two-step procedure. In the former, a full proposal, including the required attachments/annexes are submitted once for evaluation. In the latter, concept notes need to be submitted in the first phase and evaluated, before the organisations behind a selection of concept notes are allowed to submit the full proposals.
In general, open Calls for Proposals will be published in English, but some may be limited to Danish- or French-speaking audiences, in which case the material may be presented in Danish or French, respectively.
