Transcripts from the Danish Business Authority

Company information and extracts from the Central Business Register (CVR) can be ordered with the Danish Business Authority's Digital Signature at www.cvr.dk. You can download the document with the Digital Signature or have the Danish Business Authority issue an extract or 'true copy' with a physical/wet signature.

Make a Purchase for Legalisation/Apostille in Our Webshop
You must make a purchase for legalisation/Apostille in our webshop before uploading, submitting, physically sending, or digitally forwarding the document for legalisation. It costs DKK 230 per document. You will receive a receipt for the purchase via email.

Once the purchase is made, the document can be:
1. Documents with a Digital Signature can be uploaded in the webshop. Documents with a Digital Signature can be uploaded during the purchase and endorsed with a so-called E-Apostille. Receiving documents electronically is not the same as having a Digital Signature. You can check if the document has a certified Digital Signature by the presence of a blue bar at the top of the PDF file. Please note that E-Apostilles are not signed by either the issuing Danish authority or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Legalisation Office. We refer to the receiving authority regarding the recognition of the E-Apostille.

2. Documents received in Digital Post from the Danish Business Authority can be forwarded from Digital Post directly to the Legalisation Office. You can find our guide here.

3. Documents with a physical/wet signature can be submitted in person or alternatively sent by physical mail or courier to the Legalisation Office. We do not accept scans, copies, or printouts of physical original documents.

Once the document is received by Legalisation, it can be:

1. Documents with a Digital Signature uploaded during the purchase can be downloaded as an E-Apostille directly in the browser window. Alternatively, the E-Apostille can be printed with a physical Apostille endorsement by the Legalisation Office and then collected in person or sent back by mail or courier.

2. Documents forwarded from Digital Post are printed by the Legalisation Office and can be collected in person or alternatively sent back by physical mail or courier.

3. Documents submitted in person are legalised immediately or alternatively sent back by physical mail or courier.

When the document is to be sent by mail or courier:

You can expect a processing time of 5-7 business days after we receive documents by mail or courier. Please note that processing times may be longer during busy periods.

You are responsible for postage and/or courier collection in connection with the legalisation of documents. You can optionally purchase Quickbrev return postage in our webshop or alternatively buy return postage directly on PostNord's website. A receipt for the purchase and return postage code/label must be enclosed with the documents for shipment or sent digitally to [email protected].

For courier collection within our opening hours, please send the shipping note/waybill to [email protected] after we have processed your documents.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not responsible for postage and cannot provide guidance on delivery times. Please refer to the relevant postal service provider or courier.

Are you not registered for Digital Post?

If you are not registered for Digital Post, you must contact the Danish Business Authority to have an extract or 'true copy' issued, which is stamped and signed with a physical/wet signature. A scan or copy of the signature is not accepted.
In this case, please follow point 3 in the above guide.

 

Guide for downloading a transcript from cvr.dk with a digital signature

You can download a transcript from the Danish Business Authority with a digital signature at cvr.dk. which you can upload directly in our webshop afterwards.

How to do it:

1) Go to cvr.dk and search for the relevant CVR number in the below field:



2) Afterwards, please select relevant fields by clicking on the icon marked in red so the field unfolds:



3) Then you select "Signature of the Danish Business Authority":

4) Then you choose to save the open menus:

5) Finally, you save it to your PC and subsequently upload it directly in our webshop when you make the purchase.
