The Embassy is seeking to recruit a positive, energetic, and service-minded Assistant to the Defence Attaché Office with an interest and flair for administrative tasks and information gathering and analysis.
The Defence Team is a small and dynamic team, led by the Defence Attaché. The team is responsible for all embassy operations within the remit of defence and defence policy. The team is cooperating closely with the political and economic affairs team. The Defence Team refers to the Ministry of Defence and covers China and the Republic of Korea.
Main tasks and responsibilities as Assistant to the Defence Attaché
You will participate in the team’s daily tasks and assist the Defence Attaché in information gathering and as the administrative anchor of the team. You will be expected to work with the following topics and areas:

Salary and employment conditions
You will be employed on a local contract. The employment is 40 hours per week. Your salary will reflect your experience and level of qualifications. Upon mutual agreement, the contract can be adjusted to reflect the needs of the right candidate.

About us
The Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing is part of the Danish Foreign Service. The Embassy is an ambitious, high-paced and dynamic workplace with approximately 70 employees, of whom 25 are posted from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Embassy has a flat management structure.
