Updated ‘Guide for Diplomats in Denmark’

 

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Protocol Department, presents its compliments to all Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Consulates accredited to Denmark and to International Organisations and Other Missions resident in Copenhagen and Honorary Consulates in Denmark and has the honour to draw attention to the July 2024 updated ‘Guide for Diplomats in Denmark’.

 

The ‘Guide for Diplomats in Denmark’ is regularly updated with the aim to facilitate the work of Diplomatic Missions, Consulates, International Organisations and other Missions and the daily life of the staff during their stay in Denmark. The last page of the guide offers a list of the updates that have been made as well as the date of the updates. Please be aware that a circular note will only be forwarded when an update of the guide includes larger changes.

 

The guide offers an overview and information on relevant rules and procedures but does not constitute an authoritative legal statement. The guide may be accessed on the website of the Protocol Department: The Protocol Department (um.dk).
