The Danish government has decided to impose requirements for test and isolation upon entry into Denmark. Persons who wish to enter Denmark will be required to take a Covid-19 test upon entry. Furthermore, persons entering Denmark will be required to self-isolate for 10 days. It is possible to shorten the isolation period if a negative test is taken no earlier than four days after entry into Denmark. Persons wishing to enter Denmark must still have a worthy purpose for entering and fulfil existing test requirements. A number of exceptions to the requirements of test and isolation will apply, including but not limited to diplomats, persons working in Denmark or persons who have been commissioned to provide goods or services in Denmark.

Furthermore, the list of worthy purposes for entering Denmark has been adjusted to include a few additional purposes.

Finally, the existing test requirement where persons wishing to enter Denmark are required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 24 hours before entry has been extented to include persons travelling via Denmark to other locations.

More information on the Danish entry restrictions, e.g. the full list of exceptions to the requirements of test and isolation will be published here: https://coronasmitte.dk/en/entry-into-denmark.
