Extended deadline for upload of invoices in PROMOMS
for privileged persons eligible for VAT reimbursement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Protocol Department, presents its compliments to all Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Consulates accredited to and resident in Denmark, Heads of International Organisations and other Missions resident in Copenhagen and has the honour to refer to Circular Note of 20 March 2023 regarding the indexation of the minimum purchase amount when applying for VAT reimbursement.

The Protocol Department has decided to extend the previous deadline for submitting requests for VAT reimbursements (minimum purchase amount of DKK 1,500) on individual purchases made by a Mission, Organisation or privileged person until 20 July 2023.

From 21 July 2023, the minimum amount for each individual purchase made by a Mission, Organisation or privileged person will be set at DKK 1,800 incl. VAT. VAT must amount to at least DKK 360.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Protocol Department, takes this opportunity to renew to all Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Consulates accredited to and resident in Denmark, Heads of International Organisations and other Missions resident in Copenhagen the assurances of its highest consideration.
