New parking regulations at CPH Airport

Revised Note

CIRCULAR NOTE

REVISED NOTE

New parking regulations at CPH Airport

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Protocol Department, presents its compliments to all Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Consulates accredited to and resident in Denmark and to Heads of International Organisations and other Missions resident in Copenhagen and has the honour to draw your attention to the following:

As of 1 January 2023, new parking regulations entered into force regarding the designated free parking spots for CD cars outside Copenhagen Airport’s Terminal 3. This note contains a description of the new parking regulations identical to those laid out in the Circular Note of 31 March, but with an edited picture with correct east/west colour-markings received from Copenhagen Airport.

The new parking regulations read as follows:

  1. When parking in Lane 2 at Terminal 3 (P-8 on the signs), the five westernmost parking spaces (marked with blue in the picture below) are reserved for CD, CC, ministerial cars and police.

  2. The five easternmost parking spaces (marked with red in the picture below), however, may no longer be used by CD and CC vehicles. Those spots are now reserved for DK registered limousines only. Parking in these spaces with a CD car will result in a parking control fee.

  3. Please note that the maximum parking time in the five designated spaces is 75 minutes as before. Access to the designated spaces must go through CPH Taxi Management System (TMS) as previously.

According to the Airport, English information signs with the new parking rules have now been mounted at the designated parking spaces.

If you received a parking control fee from ScanPark for parking in the five easternmost parking spaces (marked with red) and now reserved solely for limousines after 1 January 2023 and before the English signs were mounted on 15 March 2023, please forward your ticket to the Airport’s parking sales manager at [email protected] in order to have your fee cancelled.

Kindly note that it is still allowed for CD cars to drop off passengers at the two parking spaces marked “taxi” directly beside Terminal 3 (marked with black in the picture below), provided that the driver stays in the car.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Protocol Department at [email protected] if you have additional questions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Protocol Department, takes this opportunity to renew to all Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Consulates accredited to and resident in Denmark, Heads of International Organisations and other Missions resident in Copenhagen the assurances of its highest consideration.
